Thomas Cook resurrection is ‘imminent’
Thomas Cook is set to return shortly as on online-only brand, according to reports.
Chinese company Fosun, which acquired the brand last year, is believed to be close to relaunching the name in the UK industry.
Sky News reported that its return was ‘imminent’, with sources saying a ‘refreshed’ name would compete on the online space.
However, the relaunch will depend on Fosun securing the necessary regulatory approvals.
Fosun, which had been a shareholder in Thomas Cook, acquired the name and intellectual property for £11m following its collapse.
