Thomson Sport wins Euro 2012 accommodation contract

Thomson Sport has been appointed official accommodation agency for the UEFA Euro 2012 football tournament in Poland and Ukraine.

The contract will include the provision of around 200,000 beds across the host cities for UEFA target groups, which include officials, teams, sponsors, media representatives and commercial partners. The host cities include Kiev and Warsaw.

The TUI Travel arm will collaborate with the organising committee to deliver accommodation and additional services during the tournament.
 

Thomson Sport managing director Nathan Wilson said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this multi-million pound accommodation contract for UEFA Euro 2012 and are excited by the challenge of helping UEFA deliver this event in Poland and Ukraine.

“This appointment speaks volumes of our stature within global sports and we look forward to being an integral part of the UEFA Euro 2012 and growing our relationship with UEFA further”.
