Three people injured in theme park shooting
A Halloween night at a theme park turned into real-life terror for guests after a gunman opened fire, injuring three.
It caused panic at Kennywood Park, near Pittsburgh.
Police said two 15 years olds and a 39-year-old man were shot at the park’s Phantom Fall Fest but none are life-threatening.
The suspected shooter escaped and is still on the run.
The shooting took place near the Musik Express ride.
The park is facing serious questions over its security measures.
Park guests told local say security at the park wasn’t adequate for the large weekend crowd.
Some said the metal detectors weren’t properly working.
Kennywood said it is cooperating with the Allegheny County Police investigation.
It said they have weapons detection systems, video scanning, and bag checks at the entrance.
They However, even those bag checks are being called into question.
Kennywood was closed on Sunday as police continue their investigation.
