Tianjin Airlines set for UK debut
Tianjin Airlines is gearing up for its UK debut next month.
The airline will begin flying from London Gatwick to Chongqing and Tianjin on June 25.
The flight time will be 12 hours to Chongqing, a major city in Southwest China, and 17 hours to Tianjin, a major port city on the northern coast.
The new service will operate every Wednesday and Saturday on an Airbus A330-200 aircraft with 18 business class and 242 economy class seats.
Tianjin Airlines is a subsidiary of HNA Group and operates a fleet of over 90 aircraft to more than 100 destinations throughout China from eight hubs – Tianjin, Xi’an, Hohhot, Urumqi, Haikou, Sanya, Guiyang and Dalian.
It will introduce three new A330s this year for international expansion.
