Tiket.com taps Cybersource for enhanced fraud screening

Tuesday, 26 Aug, 2016 0
Leading Indonesian online travel agency Tiket.com has entered into a partnership with e-payment and fraud management solutions firm Cybersource.

Tiket.com is leveraging the Cybersource Decision Manager to screen for fraudulent transactions as the OTA continues to grow its market share.

Visa Inc owned Cybersource’s fraud management tool uses the world’s largest fraud detection radar to better automate the process with less time consuming manual intervention.

"With customer retention a critical part of our business growth, ensuring a frictionless payment journey enables us to elevate our customers’ booking experience, reducing the chance of chargebacks. Even as we grow our customer base, we are heartened that our fraud rates remain among the lowest within Indonesia’s OTA industry," said Gaery Undarsa, chief communication officer at Tiket.com.

Tiket.com partners with more than 180,000 hotels and 30 domestic and regional airlines.

The company has doubled its annual revenues every year since 2011.

The Indonesian online travel market for hotel bookings is expected to grow by at least 200% annually, worth an additional $149 million a year.
