Toby Joseph and John Morgan join Eos
Eos has lured industry veterans Toby Joseph and John Morgan to join its executive team.
The business-class only airline, launched last October, has named Joseph as executive vice president global sales, splitting his time between offices in New York and London.
John Morgan has joined as vice president Europe and general manager, based in London and reporting into Joseph.
He replaces Dan Brewin who has left the company.
“Dan was fulfilling a consultancy role on a temporary basis,” said Joseph.
Previously global chief operating officer of TQ3 Travel Solutions, Joseph left in March when the company was bought out by BCD Holdings. Before that he was with Carlson Wagonlit.
He said with his travel management background, he was keen to bolster the airline’s relationships with TMCs.
“We intend to take things back to basics and be a supplier that agents can really partner with, developing the kind of relationships airlines had with agents some time ago,” he said.
“That’s part of what I hope I can bring to the table.
“We’re also looking at more interesting ways to develop service relationships and contracts with any sector or distribution channel, whether that’s online players, tour operators, or independents.”
He said having known Morgan for many years, he was keen to bring him on board.
Morgan joins from GB Airways where he was commercial director. He was previously with British Airways, British Midland and Travel Force.
Eos operates a daily service from London Stansted to New York and plans to add a second in September.
“Our results improve every day and we have very significant funding behind us. Part of the enjoyment will be showing those who doubted just how right we were,” added Joseph.
