Toga Hospitality takes out four HM Awards
Toga Hospitality, managers of Medina Apartment Hotels, Adina Apartment Hotels (Europe), Vibe Hotels and Travelodge Hotels have enjoyed another award-winning year with the announcement of four significant wins at the 2007 HM Magazine Awards.
Toga Hospitality was awarded Best Serviced Apartment Property, Best 3.5 star Hotel, Marketing Campaign of the Year and PR & Communications Department Member of the Year presented at the HM Awards Gala Function, attended by over 350 Travel Industry professionals at the University of Sydney on Friday, 17 August.
HM Magazine awards are presented annually to showcase outstanding achievements within the hospitality and tourism industry.
The award for Best Serviced Apartment Property was presented to Medina Grand Adelaide Treasury, the historic jewel in Medina’s crown, with the Heritage Listed hotel having maintained many of the original 19th Century architectural features and was the recipient of this award in 2005 amongst a host of other prestigious awards.
Vibe Hotels scored at the awards with the latest Vibe CD, “Sounds to Relive & Renew” taking out Marketing Campaign of the Year after the previous CD was presented the same award last year. The Vibe CD, released in partnership with SonyBMG, was delivered via an integrated marketing campaign incorporating extensive PR, promotion, online and print advertising, resulting in a top selling CD and increased brand recognition for Vibe Hotels.
For the second year in a row, Travelodge Hotel Southbank in Melbourne was awarded Best Hotel in the 3.5 Star category. Travelodge Hotel Southbank is an outstanding hotel in one of Melbourne’s most popular locations.
Toga Hospitality have operated Travelodge Hotels since April 2005 and have 13 hotels in the portfolio located throughout Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Darwin, Newcastle and Rockhampton.
