Tom Allen stands down from Cadogan
Former Resorthoppa.com managing director Stephen Rhodes is replacing Tom Allen at the helm of Cadogan Holidays.
Allen is leaving the luxury operator after three years to pursue other personal interests, a statement said.
Rhodes, whose career includes positions at Stella Travel, Monarch Airlines Group, British Airways Holidays, Citalia, takes over as managing director on Monday (March 2).
Addressing an employee meeting, Iain May, CEO parent company of Bland Group Resources said: “Tom has made a significant contribution to our business in a period of significant change.
“Since taking over at a very difficult time in the company’s history, he has recruited a new management team, revamped the product to reflect changing consumer needs, and overseen the implementation of new operational systems and a new website. We wish him all the best for the future.”
He added: “We are excited that Stephen Rhodes will be joining us as managing director of Cadogan Holidays. Stephen brings a wealth of commercial and operational experience from the travel industry.”
The operator marks its 60th anniversary this year.
