Central Holidays has boosted its spiritual tour offerings with the inclusion of the 2015 Passion Play of Sordevolo, Italy.

The New Jersey based company, specialists in Italy and Mediterranean group tours, will be exclusive ticket distributor for the 2015 Passion Play, taking place between June and September.

Tickets are now on sale for group travel only and packages can be customized for agents and group planners combined with itineraries to Rome, Florence, or Venice.

The Passion Play of Sordevolo in the Piedmont region takes place every five years and its roots date back over 200 years.

It is a major production staged by more than 400 of Sordevolo’s residents and acting roles are often passed down through generations of the same family.

"We are excited to offer this spectacular travel experience to our agents," said Central Holidays CEO Gianni Miradoli.

"The Passion Play of Sordevolo gives us a chance to enhance our already substantial Italy expertise with something brand new."
