Global travel wholesaler Tourico Holidays says it has doubled its inventory of ‘ExclusiveDeals’ – pre-purchased hotel room blocks – in the Asia Pacific region compared to last year.
This brings the total of ExclusiveDeals in Asia Pacific to 18, which the company is supporting with additional staff in the region.
Tourico has secured ExclusiveDeals room blocks in major gateway cities in Asia and Australasia including Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Tokyo and Seoul.
"Doubling the number of pre-purchased hotel room blocks in Asia and continuing to increase our sales and service presence there illustrates that Tourico is fully committed to growing in this market," said Steve Skidgel, executive vice president of global product development for Tourico Holidays.
"ExclusiveDeals are the backbone of our growth strategy, but it’s also critical for us to have the personnel and support on the ground to ensure our partners are able to grow alongside us."
Hotel partners who contract with Tourico on ExclusiveDeals gain a flexible term and rate structure, with a guaranteed monthly income and complimentary marketing from Tourico.
It gives travel agents and suppliers access to heavily discounted rates with no blackout dates and last-minute availability.
"Hoteliers and travel suppliers across Asia can greatly benefit from Tourico’s global distribution footprint – which includes nearly 5,000 clients in 100 different countries," said Skidgel, who will be exhibiting Tourico’s product lines at ITB Asia, Singapore this week.
"We look forward to connecting with new travel partners at ITB Asia this week and showcasing how Tourico can help businesses improve their bottom lines."
Tourico opened a new office in Shanghai earlier this year which will serve as a tech hub for its fast growing Asia Pacific operations.
