Tourico Holidays teams up with Virgin Holidays

Fast growing wholesale travel broker Tourico Holidays has inked a partnership with the UK travel firm Virgin Holidays.

The deal gives Virgin Holidays access to a comprehensive hotel portfolio in more than 100 countries, along with hundreds of ‘ExclusiveDeals’ which Tourico negotiates through pre-purchasing hotel room blocks.

Tourico says ‘ExclusiveDeals’ offer clients discounts of up to 60% off retail rates.

"Our partnership with Virgin Holidays will be pivotal in helping Tourico grow its footprint in the UK marketplace. The Virgin brand is very highly regarded and trusted among consumer travelers – so we’re very happy to be aligning our inventory with their distribution channel," said Neil Emerson, Tourico’s president of business development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Tourico is also looking at expanding inbound sales revenue to the UK by adding hotel partners in the market, and recently announced it will open an office in East London to support expansion with up to 100 team members by 2018.

"With our worldwide buying power, diverse channels of distribution, and increased presence on the ground, we expect to double inbound and outbound business in the UK," Emerson said.
