Tourism Australia does it again

Tuesday, 17 Nov, 2006 0

Australia’s announcement as the world’s most marketable country brand, according to an index released last week at World Travel Market, this year’s global premier travel trade event, at which Tourism Australia’s stand hosted Australian sellers, buyers, media and trade for business appointments, informal meetings and daily happy hours, has topped off a string of recent successful events for Tourism Australia in the UK and Europe.

World Travel Market saw Tourism Australia’s unique and controversial Australian Invitation campaign fully incorporated into the stand for the first time, building upon the earlier success of featuring singular campaign images at other events, such as Dublin Down Under, at which the campaign’s whale shark was highly recognised and well received.

High visitation to Tourism Australia’s stands at the WTM and Dublin Down Under was in keeping with TA’s success at another recent key Europe event – TTG Incontri, held in Italy last month.
