Tourism Cares offers scholarships for travel training
Tourism Cares this week opened its 2013 Professional Development Scholarship application period for travel agents.
The group is offering 22 merit-based Professional Development scholarships ranging from $350 to $3,000.
Scholarships are available for travel industry professionals and newcomers attending travel-certificate programs or for ASTA members attending the ASTA International Destination Expo in March 2014.
Certificate courses must be travel- or tourism-focused and offered by accredited schools in the United States or Canada.
The application deadline is Friday November 1st, 2013.
