Tourism Malaysia’s new boss in Sydney
Mohd Roslan Abdullah will replace Shahrin Mokhtar as the director for Tourism Malaysia Australia, based in Syndey.
The new director has worked with Tourism Malaysia for 16 years, spearheading the Tourism Malaysia offices in Delhi and Sabah for most of this time.
"The Australian market is an increasingly strong one for Malaysia, with a 13.6% increase in Australian outbound tourism to Malaysia from 2009-2011," he said.
After more than six years at Tourism Malaysia in Sydney,
Shahrin Mokhtar will resume a position with Tourism Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.
