Tourist stabbed to death in Delhi
An Australian tourist has reportedly been stabbed to death in Delhi just hours after arriving at the city’s international airport. The BBC News website reports that 59-year-old Dawn Griggs arrived at Delhi from Hong Kong at 1.30am on Wednesday, and left with a taxi driver about 40 minutes later. A 24-year-old driver was arrested after a body was found in woodland near the airport later that day; police reportedly say the woman, who was travelling alone and was planning to stay in the country until 20 April, had died instantly.
