TQ3 Travel Solutions becomes majority shareholder of Globus Reisedienst GmbH in Germany
28 February 2003, Bremen, Germany – TQ3 Travel Solutions, one of the leading global travel management companies, is pleased to announce it has acquired a majority shareholding in Globus Reisedienst GmbH in Germany. The acquisition, completed on 1 January 2003, further strengthens TQ3’s position as the clear market leader in Germany.
Globus Reisedienst GmbH, founded in 1985 by Managing Directors Werner Rettig and Volker Wiederschein, has a staff of 80 employees and an annual turnover in excess of €60 million. With headquarters in Manheim, the company operates seven implants throughout Germany. Werner Rettig and Volker Wiederschein will remain in their positions at Globus Reisedienst GmbH.
