Trafalgar’s Travel agent rescue program gets great response
Attracted by the opportunity to earn higher yields in the face of continually sinking cruise fares and increasing non-commissionable items, Travel Agents’ enthusiastic response to Trafalgar’s Travel Agent Rescue program has resulted in close to 1,000 agent registrations in less than three weeks.
Designed to help cruise-selling travel agents increase sales and retain clients by selling escorted tours to their clients who have "sampled" destinations on cruises, the program provides tools and training to sell those very same clients the in-depth destination experience that escorted touring can provide.
"We are extremely encouraged by the initial response to our Travel Agent Rescue program," says Paul Wiseman, President of Trafalgar Tours. "In this time of economic uncertainty, Travel Agents are seeking new ways to create more sales and higher revenues from their existing client databases as well as reaching out to new sources of business, and this program will help them achieve both goals."
Agents registering for the program can order the Travel Agent Rescue Pack at www.trafalgartours.com/rescue and sign up for an upcoming Webinar on February 17 at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/418042551.
