Training push by cruise excursion firm
Cruisingexcursions.com has appointed a dedicated training manager for the travel trade.
The company, which launched in 2011 offering agents a commissionable alternative to excursions offered by cruise ships, says the appointment is to reinforce its commitment to the travel industry.
Former travel trade sales executive Michelle Burge will be responsible for developing and implementing agent-training programmes as well as raising awareness of cruisingexcursions.com’s range of products, trade initiatives and incentives.
The training programmes will either be delivered face-to -face or via webinars.
Cruisingexcursions.com’s chief operating officer Simonne Fairbanks said: "By appointing a dedicated travel trade training manager we are addressing the growing trade audience who want to maximise the opportunity to earn generous commission selling our excursions."
