Transfer company targeting corporates as part of growth strategy
Transfer specialist Holiday Taxis is looking to double the size of its business to two million passengers in 2008.
The growth in dynamic packaging this year in addition to a spate of deals including jet2.com, Travel Republic and Monarch Group have meant significant growth of the company this year.
Sales and marketing director Russell Parr said: “We won the jet2 business on the back of it doing research on quality of service amongst the independent agency community.”
Parr added that the company has taken on new sales people to focus on existing accounting management as well as someone dedicated to new business.
He highlighted airlines including long-haul carriers as a key target for 2008 because of the fast growth of the sector.
Parr will also take responsibility for Business Taxis side of the company and the strategy is to target FTSE companies and travel management companies.
He claimed the company was close to several deals with corporate customers. Holiday Taxis also plans to revamp its technology next year with new functionality to make it more intuitive for agents.
