TransGlobal starts offering gift certificates
TransGlobal Vacations has started offering agents and travelers the chance to buy gift certificates online in increments of anywhere from $25 to $1,000. The company says travel agents should know that the certificates expire one year from the date of issue. They are non-refundable. Travelers can redeem their gift certificates either through a travel agent or online. If redeemed through a travel agency, agents can subtract the amount of the certificate from the total trip cost, or the certificate can be presented at the time of the trip. TransGlobal Vacations, a family-owned business serving mainly the Twin Cities area of Minneapolis/St. Paul, is part of The Mark Travel Corporation in Milwaukee. It is one of the largest vacation companies in the US. Its primary destinations are Mexico, the Caribbean, Las Vegas and Florida.
