Travel 2 launches website for homeworkers
Longhaul tour operator Travel 2 has launched a mobile website aimed at home-working travel agents.
Adapted from the Travel 2 website, it provides 24/7 access to information for agents on the move.
Although bookings cannot be made on the site, by logging onto http://m.travel2.com and using their usual Travel2.com credentials, agents and home workers will be able to use a flight and hotel search function.
It is compatible on iPhone (Safari web browser), Android (default browser only) and Blackberry (from version 6+).
Travel 2 sales and marketing director Gordon McCreadie said: “Whether our home workers receive an important call when they are out or even bump into someone unexpectedly, they will be able to quickly access the information that they need.
"We aim to provide continued support and backing to our home workers, who are a valuable part of our business and integral to our future growth.”
Travel 2 has also launched a twitter profile – @T2News –with updates on all news, views, incentives, offers, competitions and fam trips.
