Travel Bound expands into overnight cruises
Travel Bound is now offering overnight cruises in Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East — something new from a company that has long sold pre- and post-cruise hotels/transfers, sighting tours and others.
“All of these have starting commissions at ten percent for individual travel products or better than many cruise companies that don’t offer commission on anything off-ship,” says pr representative Chris Lazarus.
Commissionable sightseeing options are designed for independent travelers and groups of ten or more passengers.
“While we’ve always had day and evening cruise sightseeing tours, now we’re adding overnight cruises — which can be the highlight of an F.I.T. itinerary,” said Nico Zenner, general manager of Travel Bound.
Travel Bound cruises are sold exclusively through travel agents. They usually range from three to eight nights. Destinations include the Nile River, Galapagos Islands, Amazon River, Vietnam’s Mekong River and Cambodia’s Tonle Sap Lake.
Cruise prices range from $320 per person for a 3- or 4-night Nile cruise to $3,867 for a 7-night cruise in the Galapagos.
Agent commissions start at ten percent for cruises, as well as hotels, transfers and additional sightseeing tours before and after the cruise.
Travel Bound has a variety of other sightseeing tours that include wine-tasting, cooking, photography and adventure themes.
