Travel Counsellors reveals average earnings
Travel Counsellors says its agents are now earning an average of £24,000 a year.
It claims this represents an average rise of 9% each year since 2005.
Meanwhile, its five top performers earn over £150,000 per year and its 10 top corporate travel specialists earn an average of £113k per year.
The homeworking company also reported an increase in agents joining since the start of the year, with an 11% rise in recruitment compared to the same period last year.
"Despite the reported upturn in the economy there are still many experienced and talented travel professionals facing uncertainty in their current roles," said managing director Steve Byrne Byrne.
The group now has over 1,300 agents running their own business from home across the UK and overseas.
