Travel Counsellors has signed an agreement to maintain the use of the Galileo system.
The multi-year deal will see the homeworking agency use Galileo parent company Travelport’s e-Pricing product for finding the lowest fares which is to soon be available to Galileo users.
Travel Counsellors has developed technology to allow its 1,000 full time agents to run their own businesses from home, supported by more than 200 staff at the company’s UK headquarters and overseas offices.
Travelport GDS, UK & Ireland general manager Patreick Lukan said: “Travel Counsellors is a long standing and loyal customer and we’re confident that this new agreement will help them continue to develop their business, both in the UK as well as globally.
“We are committed to providing both Travel Counsellors and its individual Counsellors with the best content and high-tech GDS solutions along with our UK-based service and support.”
