Travel delays and appearance on beach main pre-holiday concerns
Travel delays, excess baggage and forgetting your passport are the top three things men worry about when preparing to go on holiday.
Women rank their appearance on the beach, poor weather and making the right decision when it comes to personal grooming as their major concerns.
The findings come from an online poll of 2,500 holidaymakers by lastminute.com.
Once men get through the pain of the airport, their attention focuses on having fun in the evenings, according to the survey.
The standard of the resort and accommodation is amongst the top five pre-holiday worries of women.
The online company’s travel director John Bevan said: “Women should take a leaf out of our book and let their hair down a bit. Instead of worrying so much about their appearance, they should concentrate on having fun, and making the most of their time away from their daily routine.”
