Travel firms score highly in customer service index
Four travel-related companies have achieved a place in the top 10 list for customer service in the UK.
In the latest UK Customer Satisfaction Index, by the Institute of Customer Service, Marriott, SAGA Holidays, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and P&O Cruises have all made it into the top 10.
What’s more, the tourism sector was the second-highest scoring sector in the Index.
Every six months The Institute of Customer Service asks 26,000 people what they think about the service they’ve received from the UK’s major organisations.
In the latest poll, the top 10 companies were:
1. John Lewis (89)
2. Waitrose (89)
3. BUPA (88)
4. Marks & Spencer (food) (87)
5. Lloyds Pharmacy (86)
6. Marriott (86)
7. SAGA Holidays (85)
8. Enterprise Rent-A-Car (85)
9. Boots (84)
10. P&O Cruises (84)
P&O Cruises managing director Carol Marlow said: “We are delighted to see such a positive result from this survey and it is testimony to the hard work that our teams put in both on shore and on board.â€
