Travel industry favourite through to BGT final

Wednesday, 28 May, 2015 0

The travel industry’s favourite magician Jamie Raven has made it through to the final of Britain’s Got Talent.

Raven automatically secured his spot in the final of the ITV talent show after winning the majority of the public votes for his live magic performance last night – despite being outed on Twitter.

The panel of judges led by Simon Cowell were mesmerised as Raven conjured up a goldfish in a glass, turned fire into ice and even appeared to magic a full-size helicopter on to the stage.

Twitter users were quick to point out that they’d discovered the secret to his tricks by using the pause button on their TVs, but their tweets didn’t seem to lose him any votes.

The magician, who has appeared at several travel industry gigs, will now compete in Sunday’s final for £250,000 and a chance to entertain the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.
