Travel Institute reaching out to home agents
The Travel Institute announced it was expanding its product line to include more targeted resources for home-based agents.
Said Maureen Kennedy, executive vice president and general manager:
“In many ways the educational needs of home-based agents are the same as those who work for brick-and-mortar agencies. However, there are unique skills and information home-based agents need to have that up-to-now we weren’t able to provide.”
The Institute’s most successful new product so far has been a home-based edition of the Travel Introductory Program (TRIP). Resources include textbooks, workbooks, a complimentary voucher for the TAP test and some product discounts.
The non-profit Travel Institute was founded in 1964 to serve travel professionals.
