Travel Leaders Group changes name to Internova
Travel Leaders Group has created a new corporate identity.
The parent company will now be called Internova Travel Group as it continues a strategic reorganization.
Removing the TLG name from its corporate identity removes any confusion about what the Travel Leaders name represents, said chief executive J.D. O’Hara.
It follows the integration of the corporate travel brands ALTOUR and Travel Leaders Corporate, under the ALTOUR moniker.
"This revamped structure will enable us to redefine the experience and provide an optimal home for every advisor, agency and traveler," O’Hara said.
"Our goal is to create a more empowered and agile organization to accelerate recovery."
The Travel Leaders name will continue for the franchise and consortia business, host agencies and leisure, cruise and tour brands.
These include Travel Leaders Network, Nexion Travel Group, Barrhead Travel, Travel Leaders Vacation Center, and Cruise Specialists.
A new organization yet to be named will house Protravel International and Tzell Travel Group serving high-service independent travel advisors, and will also include luxury brands Andrew Harper Travel and R. Crusoe & Son.
O’Hara says the company-wide reallignment has been in the works for some time and the global travel downturn caused by Covid-19 has made it even more essential.
