InterContinental Sydney is the number one hotel in Australia for World’s Best Value as listed in the March 2006 issue of Travel + Leisure (US) under the category ‘Setting the Standard under $400 per night’.

Part of what defines excellence in travel is delivering the best experience – at the right price.  Each year, Travel + Leisure conduct the World’s Best Awards survey where they ask T+L readers to rate travel providers for value.

Following a successful year in 2005 where InterContinental Sydney was recognised with the following accolades:

  • ‘Outstanding 5 Star Hotel’ City Sydney Business Awards
  • ‘Australia’s best 5 Star Hotel’ HM Awards for Hotel Excellence
  • ‘Australia’s Business Hotel of the year’ HM Awards for Hotel Excellence
  • ‘Distinction for being the best in luxury city hotels in Sydney’ as voted by mystery shoppers for the Australian Hotels Association.

Jordan Rodgers, General Manager for InterContinental Sydney said ‘it is gratifying to continue to be recognised in a market crowded with global upscale brands.  The real value is the recognition of our staff in delivering great service.’
