Travel Network Group to hold data protection roadshows
The Travel Network Group is to hold seminars across the country to talk to members about the sweeping changes in UK data protection.
The roadshows will be run by CEO Gary Lewis in conjunction with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law specialists Moore Stephens.
The events start this week, in Exeter on April 24, followed by Manchester on April 25, Birmingham on April 26 and London on May 1.
Attendees will hear a presentation on the new laws coming into force and a take part in a workshop where they will be helped to complete the necessary paperwork.
Lewis said: "Since January this year, we have been working hard behind the scenes to provide members with insight and support on the changing legislation and new regulations that are being introduced across the UK from May 25.
"We have developed a comprehensive GDPR policy and guidance document, which has been developed for all members across all our membership propositions, and have hosted a number of successful webinars.
"The next step we feel is to take to the road and visit as many members as we can, and use this as an opportunity to give them an in-depth briefing on what they need to prepare for as well help with completing the paperwork."
