Travel PR boss to compete in rowing event for charity
Dru Bryan, managing director and founder of travel and tourism specialist Gosh PR, will be raising funds for Breast Cancer Care next week by taking place in a world class rowing event in Florida.
Bryan, aged 52, will compete in a double scull at the 2018 World Rowing Masters Regatta in Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida.
The last time she rowed was at school, aged 17.
She is raising funds in memory of a school friend and fellow rower who tragically died aged 49.
"This has been a steep learning curve as well as an incredibly physical and emotional challenge but hopefully we are ready," she said.
"Sarasota-Bradenton is a beautiful part of the world attracting many UK and Irish visitors and it’s great to combine a personal and professional goal like this."
Gosh PR has represented both Visit Sarasota County and Bradenton Area CVB for the last 13 years, as well as Visit Florida for the last eight years.
