Travel Stockwatch
There were few drastic movements among travel and tourism shares yesterday as London’s equity markets managed to make small gains. The FTSE 100 index ended the day 6.7 points to the good, while the FTSE 250 added 31.5 points to close at 6388.8. British Airways continued its positive run after another broker upgraded its valuation of the stock, gaining 4.25p to close at 332.25p, while lastminute.com dropped back 3.5p to close at 231.5p after Martha Lane Fox sold off GBP4.6 million worth of shares in the company.
