It was a largely negative day for travel and tourism shares yesterday as London’s equity markets failed to show any significant movement. The FTSE 100 index gained 7.9 points to close at 4398.5, while the FTSE 250 moved the other way, dropping 33.4 points to end the day at 6010.9. Ryanair added 10.19p to close at 349.12p, while British Airways dropped 3.75p to 287.5p after admitting that fears over security were affecting bookings.
