There were few drastic movements on the “News From Abroad” index yesterday, on a day that saw London’s main share indices slide. The FTSE 100 index dropped 56.6 points to close at 4411.5, while the FTSE 250 fell by a similar amount and closed at 5965.5, 64.4 points down. Ryanair and Easyjet both had better sessions than in recent days, gaining 7.74p and 7p respectively, while British Airways dropped 11p to 294p.
