Travel With Kidz hits 30 agencies
Travel With Kidz founder Wendy Buckley says she has ended the financial year by reaching her target of 30 agents nationally providing existing retail travel agents the opportunity to have a “niche” division.
TWK provides branding, product, consultant training including selling skills, preferred wholesalers and marketing skills all dedicated to growing travel agents’ business.
The target was reached with the signing of Varsity Lakes Travel on Queensland’s Gold Coast, the inaugural agent in South Australia, Freeway Travel at Stirling and inner-city Sydney agency Spencer Travel at Surry Hills.
Ms Buckley said Travel With Kidz had new ambitions for the 2007/8 financial year and was aiming at 60 branded agencies by Christmas.
Agents who join the Travel With Kidz group are provided with an intranet site, which provides not only hotels/lodges/resorts worldwide suitable for families but information gained over the last 11 years selling TWK from her Mosman travel agency which helps make family holidays a success.
The new TWK website directs all new enquiries to the nearest TWK agent by state/suburb. TWK attracts new business to existing travel agents through a national and state marketing and public relations campaign, whilst the intranet provides a comprehensive local marketing kit for agents.
