Travelink is Barton’s choice
The Turquoise Holiday Company, a longhaul operator due to launch in January, has selected a Travelink system to sell its holidays.
The new operator has been created by former Bridge the World executive director, Brian Barton, and will specialise in tailor-made holidays to the Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Kenya and the Seychelles.
The Travelink browser-based system will allow employees in all offices to book holidays through the same web interface. Mr Barton said the primary aim of Turquoise Holiday Company was to be able to book complex itineraries in a short time period.
Travelink is also used by Elegant Resorts and Ski Solutions. The updated version of its browser-based system, which is Viewdata enabled, was launched at WTM.
