TravelManagers signs 90th Personal Travel Manager

TravelManagers Australia says that it has reached a major milestone in its two year history, officially signing up its 90th Personal Travel Manager, Wollongong-based Alison Johnson.

Significantly, Alison’s signing brings to 20 the number of Personal Travel Managers swelling TravelManagers’ ranks within the last three months.

General Manager, Don Beattie said the new signing – and the exponential rate of growth the organisation has enjoyed in the last 12 weeks – fully underlined the widening appeal the TravelManagers model now holds for a broad section of travel industry professionals looking to balance work with lifestyle.

“Alison is typical of the highly experienced and passionate travel people who have recognised the major points of difference the TravelManagers model offers over similar concepts,” he said.

“A key point of difference is the appeal the TravelManagers model holds for those who truly want to develop their own business via a system which has been developed purely for the Australian market.”

“Successful travel consultants know that managing the entire process for their clients and focusing on all aspects of their business, not just the top line, is critical to building a strong business. The TravelManagers model allows them to do so”

“Given the growth of TravelManagers, new Personal Travel Managers coming on board are joining a network of like-minded individuals who enjoy the high levels of support and community that an organisation of this size can offer, combined with a strong locally based support team and the backing of House of Travel.”

“The model also gives our Personal Travel Managers ready access to an attractive source of income, combining their lifestyle requirements while allowing them to maintain control of their earnings.”

At the same time, Mr Beattie said, the TravelManagers concept offers huge incentives for Personal Travel Managers looking to increase their gross sales via a rate of remuneration offering 90 per cent of all commissions earned.

The TravelManagers 90/10 commission split is in fact the highest available in Australia.

“Signing our 90th Personal Travel Manager is a major outcome for any member-based organisation – we are now well on track to achieving our target of 250 TravelManagers by December 2008.”

“Based on the rate of enquiry we have been receiving in recent weeks, that figure is eminently achievable. “
