TravelMole and Travel Ads – TravelMole takes all sales in house
TravelMole has announced this morning that it has taken all advertising sales and promotions in house and that it is not longer represented by, or associated with TravelAds for advertising sales.
John Alwyn-Jones, MD and Editor of TravelMole said, "We have tried a range of approaches to advertising and promotional sales and at the end of the day, the reality is that we have been getting much better cut through and conversion through our own efforts than by outsourcing."
"This does not mean that we will not look at outsourcing this type of activity in the future, but that depends on the potential party."
He added, "TravelMole is quite simply not like the other trade sites and newswires in Australia, because we are the only global offering in this part of the world, with several regional and segment editions, but we are also more complex than others, because our promotional offering is very extensive and much more than a mass of ads and click throughs."
"We also prefer to really get to know our clients, understanding their needs and objectives and then we can offer them really amazing deals and packages, which are not just packages containing advertising, but the full portfolio of everything else we offer."
"We concluded that for TravelMole, we cannot really achieve what we want to thorough intermediaries and we need to be much more directly involved."
Advertising and promotional enquiries can be sent to John Alwyn-Jones on [email protected] or feel free to call him on 0402 891 674.

Alwyn-Jones added, "Remember though that we will package deals to suit the client!"
