TravelMole debate to focus on future of tourism

Sunday, 06 Sep, 2005 0

The evolving and future shape of the travel industry will form the subject of the second TravelMole Travel Industry Question Time which takes place later this month.

Fly Me To The Moon – The Next Chapters in Travel and Tourism will feature an expert line-up of panellists who will debate where tomorrow’s travellers will go, whether responsible tourism will outstrip mass market product and how companies will be affected from events outside the industry.

Cendant chief operating officer for international markets Chris Vukelich has become the latest top industry figure to join the line-up.

Other panellists include ABTA president Martin Wellings, outspoken Sunvil Holidays managing director Noel Josephides who will speak on behalf of The Travel Foundation, cheapholidaydeals.co.uk head of sales Alison Jago and adventurer and managing director of High and Wild Nigel Gifford.

The first question time was a sell out and places are quickly filling up for the second event, which will be held on September 20 at ABTA’s Newman Street offices between 3pm and 5pm.

The moderator is former Travel Weekly editor and industry journalist and commentator Jeremy Skidmore.
