TravelMole expands team
TravelMole has appointed Jahan Khan to the newly created role of business development manager as part of plans to expand the group’s portfolio for 2018 and beyond.
Jahan will work alongside managing director Graham McKenzie on new business initiatives.
She is well-known in the travel industry, having worked in national newspapers for over 30 years, before becoming a consultant on various projects in 2016.
Her career spans sales roles at the Daily Express, Daily Mirror, Mail on Sunday and Daily Mail, where she was part of the travel sales team.
MD Graham McKenzie said: "Jahan is well-respected in travel, with business know-how that covers every sector in the market. She’s very experienced in organising focused events and campaigns in the industry."
Jahan added: "I’m so excited to be joining the team and I’m looking forward to working with TravelMole on some exciting new initiatives for 2018."
Lisa
Lisa joined Travel Weekly nearly 25 years ago as technology reporter and then sailed around the world for a couple of years as cruise correspondent, before becoming deputy editor. Now freelance, Lisa writes for various print and web publications, edits Corporate Traveller’s client magazine, Gateway, and works on the acclaimed Remembering Wildlife series of photography books, which raise awareness of nature’s most at-risk species and helps to fund their protection.
