TravelMole Mole Poll respondents say don’t fly Garuda
Over 84% of TravelMole subscriber respondents to the current Mole Poll asking if they would recommend their clients fly Garuda or fly the airline themslves have responded to say no they would not.
The Mole Poll comes at a time when Garuda is recovering from a major accident in Indonesia and also when the airline failed to achieve a level one rating in an operations audit, including safety undertaken by the Indonesian Government.
Six airlines in Indonesia have been told to sort themselves or they will be closed within six months, with analysts asking if they pose a risk why the Indonesian Government is not closing them immediately.
Garuda was unable to comment this week to the The Mole regarding why it had not been rated at the top level in the audit and was seeking advice from its head office in Jakarta, but has not responded.
