Travelocity Global president and CEO Michelle Peluso is to leave the company on February 6.
Parent company Sabre Holdings has appointed Hugh Jones in her place.
Jones moves from being chief operating officer for the Sabre Travel Network and Sabre Airline Solutions businesses.
He was previously senior vice president, North America for Sabre Travel Network.
Peluso, who has led US-based Travelocity since 2003, is leaving the company following the recent birth of her child.
“She plans to seek an executive position that does not involve an ongoing, cross-country commute,” a statement said.
