Travelodge takes over Holiday Inn Express hotel
Travelodge has taken over the 100-room Holiday Inn Express hotel at Liverpool airport.
The hotel, which is being leased for 25 years from Peel Land and Property Group, has now changed its name to Travelodge Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
It is the company’s 549th hotel and its 14th property in Merseyside.
Following the takeover, all rooms are being upgraded and a new cafe bar is being installed. The hotel will remain open during the work, which is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
