TravelPerk acquires California based NexTravel
Travel management company TravelPerk has sealed a deal to acquire Santa Monica based NexTravel to accelerate its growth in North America.
The acquisition covers NexTravel’s infrastructure, client base, inventory and workforce.
NexTravel was established in 2015, and has about 700 corporate customers.
Clients use the company to manage expense and report staff travel.
"The acquisition of NexTravel will accelerate our growth in the US, doubling the size of our team on the ground and adding significantly to our client base and in-market expertise," TravelPerk CEO and co-founder Avi Meir said.
Barcelona-based TravelPerk says it is its largest acquisition to date.
"By joining forces with TravelPerk, we’ll be able to bring a world-class booking experience to our customers and extend their international capabilities," said NexTravel co-founder Wen-Wen Lam.
