Details of additional charges, stopovers and duration times have been added to the flights section of price comparison website travelsupermarket.com.

Information on whether the flight is direct or the number of stopovers involved in each flight option is being made available.

Also included is detail on any additional charges for taking golf clubs, skis and surfboards. The information is available by clicking on ‘flight details’ next to the results the user finds most attractive after making the initial price search.

The flexibility of the ticket, luggage allowances for the flight and meal details is also being made available in the flight details section.

Company director Chris Nixon said: “Visitors to our site will now be able to compare one flight against another, not just based on pricing, but with a complete set of details so they know what they are buying before the click through to book.”
