TravelSupermarket expands commercial team
TravelSupermarket has expanded its commercial team from four to nine full time positions.
The appointments, at its Ewloe headquarters and London office, have been led by head of commercial and partnerships Cressida Sergeant.
Lina Patel, who has been with the company for nine months, has been promoted to the position of senior partnerships manager.
She will now be supported by two new partnership managers – Charlotte Dawson in Ewloe and Alex Berman in London.
Dawson joins from Teletext Holidays and also worked for Global Travel Group for over three years.
She will focus on partners in the north and will also travelling to London on a regular basis.
Berman joins from Lastminute.com, where he was trading manager for the brand’s dynamic packaging product and previously worked for the TUI Group.
Meanwhile, Sally Thomas-Davis has been promoted to partner integration manager, and supporting her David Hull is stepping into the role of partner integration exec. Both are based at Ewloe.
Annabel Cruddas, who joined the team as an intern in September of last year, has accepted a permanent position of partnerships exec, based in London, and Louise Slater has been promoted to advertising exec, also based in London.
The company is seeking to appoint a London-based advertising manager as soon as possible to fill the ninth position.
"Partner relationships are absolutely crucial to the success and growth of TravelSupermarket in 2014," said Sergeant.
"As we invest and evolve our product across key channels this year, it was also important for us to reinvest in both existing and new talent within the commercial team."
