Travelzoo claims 1.5m UK subscribers

Internet travel offers company Travelzoo has claimed a 35% rise in UK subscribers since January.
The firm added 375,000 in the period, bringing the number of unduplicated subscribers to its UK publications, including the Travelzoo Top 20 and Newsflash, up to 1.5 million.
The company said its UK online publications received an average of 500,000 clicks a week, against an average of 360,000 clicks a week for the same period last year.
Travelzoo’s biggest week this year was the seven days ending August 16,
when subscribers clicked 634,684 times on travel offers recommended in its publications.
Commercial director Stephen Dunk said: “With over 1.5 million high-quality subscribers, Travelzoo has established itself as one of the most-trusted sources of travel information in the UK.
“Our focus on attracting high quality subscribers, talent and advertisers is critical to our success.”
