Tributes paid to Andrew Windsor
Ex-colleagues have paid tribute to former Thomas Cook boss Andrew Windsor, who has died aged 56.
His death was announced on Saturday on Facebook by his ex-wife Emma, who said: "It is with the great sadness that I write to tell you that my ex husband, Andrew Windsor passed away yesterday morning. He leaves three amazing sons who are devastated and a sister. He was just 56. So sad."
Former colleagues paid tribute to his ‘tremendous energy’, ‘terrifically sharp mind’ and ‘mischievous sense of humour’.
Andrew held a number of positions at Thomas Cook, including Managing Director and CEO in the late 1990s and early 2000s, before joining Lastminute.com.
