Trip to China for just over $1000
Friendly Planet Travel announced what it called a “super low price” for a ten-day trip to China for USD$1,099, including air fare, first class hotels, English speaking guides and many meals.
The site is offering a trip that includes visiting the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, and Tiananmen Square, among other stops in its “Taste of China” tour.
The trip includes round-trip airfare from Los Angeles via Air China, all ground transfers, all intra-China flights, and other perks.
The $1,099 deal is available until June 30 for the following departure date: Dec. 8. And for $100 more at $1,199, the tour is available for the following departures dates: Nov. 24 and Jan. 18.
Friendly calls the trip the “lowest price China vacation package available from the US.”
Stops include two days in Xi’an, where groups visit, among other sites, one of the world’s archeological marvels: the army of 2,200-year-old terra-cotta soldiers, including more than 8,000 life-size ceramic soldiers, chariots, and horses buried to protect the tomb of the first Qin emperor.
Vacationers then fly to their final destination in Shanghai, China’s most modern city, often referred to as “Paris of the East.”
Travelers can also choose from an array of optional tours plus a four-day extension in Hong Kong.
Friendly Planet Travel since 1981 says it has been making “high-quality exotic travel affordable for everyone.” It offers discount travel packages and cruises at what it terms the “lowest possible prices.” The site has more than 30 different group travel packages to Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and South America.
